Recordable Devices
- A single message device plays one message at a time. It may still hold multiple messages for use at different times. A greeting, song, prayer, joke, request, questions or answers are some example uses.
- Sequencing devices play a series of messages in sequence. This might structure a conversation, lines in a play, turn taking activities, or telling a story.
- Multi-message devices can record different numbers of messages. They offer more words, but not sufficient to represent a 'robust AAC tool' and are instead ideal for Core Vocabulary used across activities or specific games / events.
